Should I Start Reviewing Again? =O
:
Hmm... I'm right considering whether I should start reviewing on anime episodes once again. I may want to, but it is going to use up a lot of my time. My plan for the reviews, is to archive it and provide links to it for the respective animes. For example, if I'm reviewing an episode of School Days, it will be in a whole new post by itself. Then I publish it, I will provide links to it in my School Days page. I do not have any particular reason for doing it, like copying what other anime bloggers are doing. Rather, I just want to do for the fun of it, so that when maybe in a few years time I can go back and look at it, saying "wow, I actually wrote this much?". So, its kind of a personal thing. Besides, some people may want to know what the hell is happening in a certain episode, so my review may be of help to them.
Well, after typing this much, I will have to consider it mainly because it will take up a lot of time. I may start after my "O" levels, but no promises.
A hand-carved limited edition Gundam figure will be available soon. Fans of the Gundam series may want to get this for their collection. I've only watched Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny, so I'm not really sure about which Gundam it is. But if you want me to make a guess, I would say Impulse (mainly because of the shield its holding). Well, the designs of Gundams are pretty much the same to me, except of course those noticeable ones like the Zaku.
This model will be available in August at a price of 50,400 yen (~US$414, ~S$625). For more information, please visit this website (Japanese).

New Redesigned Playstation Portable
:
New Redesigned Playstation Portable
The redesigned Playstation Portable will be available soon. It seems that this version is slimmer than the older one. There are quite a number of improvements made, for example, the WiFi switch will be located at the top instead of the side to prevent getting hit accidentally. For more information on this product, please visit GameSpot's hands-on preview. Here are some screenshots:
Yes, I know I'm four days late for posting this thing in my blog. This Single Album was released on 11/7/2007, consisting of five songs. There are two versions for this Single. The first one, is the normal CD consisting of 5 songs. The second one, is the normal CD + DVD, consisting of the usual 5 songs + "Dober Man" music clip. Personally, I feel that only die-hard Kosaka Riyu fans should purchase the second version, otherwise you will be wasting your money.
Tracklisting 1. Dober Man 2. Danzai no Hana ~Guilty Sky~ Ballad Style 3. Danzai no Hana ~Guilty Sky~ Swordsman Guitar Style 4. Dober Man Instrumental 5. Danzai no Hana ~Guilty Sky~ Ballad Style Instrumental
Naruto Shippuuden will be available on DVD very soon! I couldn't find any information on how many episodes will be included, but my guess is four episodes because the total runtime is 93 minutes, so if you divide it by four you will get 23.25 minutes (approx. length of one episode). The DVD will be released on 4/8/2007.
I went to visit Anime News Network and I saw an article about "Free Tokyo Anime Award Film Festival in Akihabara". To tell you the truth, I only know about this today since it just so happens as to caught my attention. I've searched it up on Wikipedia and it stated that it is the largest anime or animation trade show in Japan. Here is a list of animes which have won the "Animation of the Year" Award since 2002 (when TAF had first established):
2002 - Spirited Away
2003 - Sentou Yousei Yukikaze
2004 - Gundam SEED
2005 - Howl's Moving Castle
2006 - Fullmetal Alchemist Movie: Conqueror of Shambala
2007 - Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Ok, now to move back to Anime News Network's article. It seems that the 6th Tokyo International Anime Fair will be screened for free from August 24 to August 26. Here are the animation works which will be screened!:
- The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
- The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi
- Death Note
- Arashi no Yoru ni
- Paprika
- Gunbuster 2
- Freedom
- Cars
I would love to go for this screening, but too bad... Unless I find a way to get to Tokyo between August 24 and August 26, which is IMPOSSIBLE. Oh well, hope the people who are going will enjoy the screening =).
It is almost time, for the release of another anime by Shinkai Makoto! He is probably most well-known for his breath-taking artwork and very interesting storyline. His previous works (e.g. Kumo no Mukou, Hoshi no Koe) had been a great hit and both of them are award-winning films. Fans of Shinkai Makoto should've realised by now, that his films are generally similar to one another. All of them seem to be about two lovers who are seperated from another, and how they overcome this pain of not being able to see each other.
Well, the similarity is actually due to his own life experience. Shinkai Makoto usually works from early in the morning to late in the night. Therefore, his work is seperating him from his wife, but he still manage to find time to talk to her by the means of calling, smsing, and maybe online chatting.
The release will be in two verions: DVD Box [Regular Edition], DVD Box [Limited Edition]. The limited edition comes with a bonus DVD which includes:
- Another version of "Okashou" - Music video for the theme song "One More Time, One More Chance" - Cast interviews - Soundtack CD consisting of 11 songs - Theatrical Film Cut - and more!
Byousoku 5 Centimeter will be released on DVD on July 19. Fans of Shinkai Makoto's works should NEVER miss this one! I believe it will be as good as his previous works, so look forward to it!

School Days Added To Database!
:
Hehe yup! I have just added School Days into my small small database! I've been looking forward to this show ever since I've seen the previews. I'm probably gonna enjoy this series since it has my favourite genre combination: Drama, Romance~! Haha... Hmm, so far there's only one episode subbed, but thats no surprise since the RAW just came out not too long ago. Looking at the current situation, it is starting to look like Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (that was the first anime which actually made me cry for the first time while watching a show!). Alright, I'm gonna compare episode one of both School Days and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien>.
*SPOILER WARNING*
Description Of Episode 1: School Days There is this girl named Sekai Saionji, who appears to be good friends with the male protagonist, Makoto Itou. Sekai noticed that Itou has a picture of Kotonoha Katsura, whom Itou likes. Then, Sekai decided to help out Itou and introduced Katsura to him. Towards the ending, Itou confessed his love for Katsura and they both got together. When Sekai got the news from Katsura herself, she didn't sound really happy for her. It was later shown, that it is because Sekai also likes Itou as she gave him a kiss before boarding her train home.
Description Of Episode 1: Kimi ga Nozomu Eien Episode one started off by introducing the four main chaacters of the show immediately. Hayase Mitsuki was practicing for her swimming club, Suzumiya Haruka watching Mistuki's practice, Narumi Takayuki having a conversation about University admission with his friend, Taira Shinji. Haruka was obviously in love with Takayuki because the very sight of him made her blush. Mistuki knew about it even before the show started, and so she decided to help Haruka out. Mistuki intentionally called both Takayuki and Haruka to meet her at Takayuk's favourite spot, the tree at the top of the hill. Since its a set up, Mistuki did not appear and Haruka took the chance to confess to Takayuki. Both of them went out together, and when Takayuki told Mitsuki about it, she didn't seem quite happy about her accomplishment of bringing those two together. There was already some problems between Takayuki and Haruka, but it was solved at the end of the episode and they kissed at Takayuki's favourite spot. The episode ended wih Mitsuki in the school's swimming pool, deep in thought...
*SPOILER END*
Well, what do you think??? Although they are kind of different, but they are still generally similar right?? Well, for those of you who still can't see it, maybe this will help:
Well, I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode! Too bad I don't understand Japanese, if not I will be able to watch the second episode =(. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do! =D
Makoto Itou rides the train to and from school every day. However, at the beginning of his second term, he falls in love with a beautiful girl that also rides the train. Unfortunately, she barely knows of his existence. Her name is Kotonoha Katsura, and though they attend the same school, they are not in the same class. In an attempt to catch her eye, Makoto enlists the aid of a close female friend of his: Sekai Saionji. She helps him, despite the fact that she--unbeknownst to Makoto--is in love with him. Thus the three are bound in a love triangle of life changing proportions.
