Friday, 2 March 2007 - I'M BAAAAAAAAACKK!!!!! =D :

well, it has defintely been a hectic week, with homework and tests almost every single day. this is why I havent been really blogging lately, so sorry? =P. well, today was a normal schooling day, with normal happenings, and Xiling is still weird as ever O.o.

haha anyways, Ms Sim lied to all the Sub Biology students.. she told us that today is a QUIZ, but it turned out to be a freakin TEST. scare the crap out of me lah.. and what's more, I did not study for the test >.<. but surprisingly the paper was quite easy because it is something like general knowledge. I think that if I study for it next time, I will get very good marks for this topic =).

afterwards I went for my CCA, badminton. it was kind of boring, and our coach had been fired O.o. kind of shocked cause I didnt find him bad at all. but later I found out that its because we didnt do well in the East Zone tournament. oh well.. the new coach was supposed to come today, but he DIDNT TURN UP AT ALL. oh my god.. seriously, what kind of coach don't come for his or her first training in a school? it turned out that he didn't know how to come to our school... niiiice.... make me and Ghim wait for him at the school gate for nothing XD.

well, the rain got heavier, but luckily it got softer just when I wanted to go home. I followed Ghim to the bus stop, and after he had boarded the bus I went back home. I was not very wet, but it was a drag to carry a big badminton bag..

as promised in the last post, this is gonna be damn long one.. hope my fingers will be ok O.o. my estimated time of completion is 2am x). oh well.. good luck to me! =D.

the episode started off with a small recap of last episode. it is stated that Enomoto's fleet is still progressing north towards the war taking place there. right afterwards, the Kakunojo Yuuyama Troupe was seen to be holding a funeral walk thing, obviously for Ebisu who had sacrificed himself for the sake of revenge. it was a very sad scene accompanied by a melodious background music to fit in with the mood. then, the Troupe seemed to have decided to go their own seperate ways as the episode continues. the first person to go was Yuuyama. she decided for herself that she wants to follow Akidzuki because she was "not aware of her feelings". I guess she wants to confirm that she really like him O.o. later on in the show, the rest of the Troupe members were getting ready to seperate when they suddenly got a letter from Soutetsu.

Soutetsu's last play seemed to have gone as he had planned, which is to get the Lod's Head to possess Enomoto. Akidzuki was completely oblivious of Soutetsu's intentions, and so did not notice anything. both Akidzuki and Soutetsu need the Lord's Head. for Soutestsu, he needs it because he wants to revolutionise Japan to become the finest country in the world, whereas Akidzuki needs to seal it as it is an evil object I guess, or maybe a personal reason. the Lord's Head possessing Enomoto was also a failure for Knight, Rook, Queen, and Bishop, who had been sent to probably destroy the Lord's Head during the play in the last episode. this can be seen that they might be good people since their enemies are the same as Akidzuki's. this led to them being instructed by Parkes to kill Enomoto.

in this episode, Kanna was asked to choose whether to believe in England, or Japan. I believe he asked that because his father was from London and his mother was a Japanese. Parkes told him to know who his true enemies are, so Kanna decided to support England. this is shown when Kanna was seen wearing what Knight and the rest are wearing. Kanna seemed to also have been appointed leader of this small group of soldier because Knight said "I wonder if he'll be able to master using us". well it is not surprising since he does have extreme skills with his Remington pistols. later on, these people were seen taking over one of the ships in Enomoto's fleet. Kanna told the captain of the ship that their mission to resupply Enomoto's ship is still continuing, therefore it goes to show that they gonna intercept the war in the north.

at the end of the episode, Enomoto's fleet continued northwards, completely oblivious that one of their ship has been taken. also, Yuuyama managed to catch up with Akidzuki, though they just look at each other until the ending theme starts.

hmm.. this episode didn't really have much action in it, which is kind of boring. I think the whole idea of this episode is to provide with supporting details on what is happening at the moment, and therefore do not want to plunge the audience straight into the war. but still, it was not a bad episode I guess.

[Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto Ep 15 - The Secret Blades Resonate]

this whole episode is devoted to Akidzuki and Yuuyama alone. I believe it is to strengthen the relationship between these two as they go through some events together. we were also shown a softer side of Akidzuki in this episode as he had to sort of 'take care' of Yuuyama. we were always shown that Akidzuki is some mysterious samurai who is named the Eternal Assassin, putting on an emotionless straight face. well, at least now we know that he is still human ^_^.

the first so-called 'event' that happened between them is at the very beginning where Yuuyama's sandal strap got snapped. Akidzuki offered his help to fix it. next, they went past a town where the war had already taken place before. it was in ruins, with almost everything destroyed. the people of the town had to buil;d their own 'house' in there. Akiduzuki and Yuuyama manged to find an inn, though a section of it was destroyed by the war.

there were three new characters being introduced in this episode, but whether or not they will appear in later episodes I do not know. their names are still unknown, but they call themselves the Three Shiranami Girls. they have been travelling around to earn money through their performances, so they are somewhat similar to the Kakunojo Yuuyama Troupe. their first appearance in this episode is at the beginning, when Akidzuki was trying to fix Yuuyama's broken sandal. their kindness was shown when the leader gave her one of their sandals. their second appearance is when Akidzuki and Yuuyama entered the inn in the war-torn town. afterwards, it was shown that they actually play quite an important role. the leader was actually assigned by Akidzuki's sensei to pass to him a letter to tell about investigating a place.

after Akidzuki received the letter, he immediately rushed of to the designated location, which is a temple. he went through a small waterfall thing and entered a small cave. at the middle of the cave, there seem to have a shrine with a Moon Tear sword (similar to Akidzuki's). then, smoke start to come out of a container which looks like the one which Soutetsu used to keep the Lord's Head. the semi-invisible things appeared and Akidzuki had to fend them off, taking a few slashes to his clothes. just then, Yuuyama appeared and seem to have been drawn to the Moon Tear sword at the shrine. Yuuyama walked through the fighting unharmed and took the sword. afterwards, the ghost-like things vanished, and Akidzuki led her out of the cave. why the sword called upon Yuuyama, I do not know as there was no explanation. but maybe this is a sign that they were a match.
*EDIT: after watching the show again, I found out that the shrine is Ieyasu Tokugawa's shrine, and the Moon Tear sword is his because he was an Eternal Assassin too.

this episode didnt really progress the story much, but it did progress in the sense that the relationship between those two had been improved.

[Bleach Ep 117]

the Arrancars had started their attacks, as shown in the last episode. this is the result of Grimmjow's disatisfactory with Ulquirra's way of handling things in his fight against Ichigo. only a few Arrancars' names were introduced in this episode, so I do not know the names of the others. there were a series of fights in this episode as the Shinigamis in Kakura Town had to face the Arrancars seperately, some being in pairs while others fight alone. although there were a series of fights shown, it seemed like this episode is focused mainly on Rukia's fight. it also seems like Chad had noticed something about Ichigo as he seemed to have changed. last time, Ichigo is always fighting alongside with Chad and the others, but as the show progresses, Ichigo seemed to be fighting alone more and more often.

the first fight is between Hitsugaya and Rangiku, and Shawlong (Arrancar no.11) and... the other fat guy XP. well he wasn't introduced so its not my fault! anyways, the second fight is between Rukia and D-Roy (Arrancar no.16). this fight is kind of messed up because it suddenly turned comedic with Rukia's crazy gikon. although it is kind of messed up, this fight also revealed something very important, and that is Rukia's restored Shinigami powers. during the fight, Rukia called out her sword, which is named Sode no Shirayuki (Sleeve of White Snow). this sword is said to be the most beautiful of all the snow and ice Zanpakutou in Soul Society (including Hitsugaya's). its move is called Tsuki Shiro (White Moon). this move is rather tricky if the opponent do not know its advantage. at first, the designated ground will be frozen with ice, along with anything in contact with the frozen ground. if the person managed to exscape from the ice and flies up, he will still be frozen in midair because anything within the frozen ground will be within the sword's frozen domain too, whether its earth or sky. after defeating D-Roy, Grimmjow (Arrancar no.6) appeared, but they did not fight.

the third fight is between Renji and a long yellow-haired Arrancar, who is able to block his Zanpakutou's attack. the fourth and final fight of this episode is between Ikkaku and Yumichika, and a guy with Hollow spectacles (Arrancar no.13). looking at how the last fight is being carried out, I would say that in the next episode will be focused on this. at this rate, there will be a few episodes for just this small problem. man, they sure know how to drag a show O.o.

Battlefield: Bad Company [Xbox360][PS3]

I heard of this game just last year. from what I know of, the game will ONLY be on the Xbox360 or PS3 and will be focusing on singleplayer instead of its predecessors which focused more on multiplayer. the singleplayer mode will be made into a cinemtaic type (e.g. Brothers In Arms). although the game is focused on singleplayer, the usual multiplayer modes will still be present in the game so as to be fair to the multiplayer-ers =).

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 [PC][Xbox360][PS3][PSP]

this game has officially gone gold!! it will be available in retail outlets on March 8 (though I think we can already buy it one or two days before this date) for the Xbox360. it seems that there will be an in-game achievement system intergrated into the game. ok to put it simply, it is the same as the unlock system in Battlefield 2142 =P. you will get things like "shoot down 20 helicopters in a round". the music in GRAW2 will also be more intense than the first one, so the gameplay experience should be better.
