Wednesday, 21 February 2007 - Life's Gonna Suck When You Grow Up, When You Grow Up............... :

don't ask me why I put that as my title.. anyways, CNY holidays are over and its back to crappy life. since school has started, I may not review anime shows or have the time to check on updates on a few things. I have to find a times like today in order to do it.

I don't like to write about school over here.. my blog is boring enough without my account on the day. well, of course if anything special happened then I will talk about it. like maybe Wen Hao says something really REALLY weird.. (welcome to today's episode of Wen Hao says the darnest thing! -.-")

for days which I do not have anything to say or am too busy, I will just post the homework and tests here.. and maybe include a few anime/manga/game updates. yes, I only know how to write about these few things. I'm not "cool" enough to follow the latest hits or TV shows or movies. oh well I don't give a damn.. this is my life, my character. I like anime and you don't, too bad. ok whoever's reading this, just so you know I ain't aiming anybody O.o haha.. just wanna point out my view on this thing.

well anyways, nothing much to update today. if anybodys interested, then I want to say that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is coming out 6th March!! wooo thats fast. so far it is only for the Xbox360, PS3, PC, and PSP. the PSP version will be a little later tha nthe other two. its release date is 20th March. but I'm interested to find out how it will look on the PSP and how well will they will make the gameplay suitable for the PSP. hope its not another one of those games which has a bad console to PSP translation. a very good example would be Brothers In Arms D-Day. for the PS3 version, there's still a long way to go, because the release date is June.

another game which I have my eyes on is Medal Of Honor Airborne. I've read the previews and I like how you can choose the path to take instead of giving one road. ok I'm gonna give you an example of this feature. lets say you are at the beginning of the game where you have just parachuted from the C47 plane. you can can actually change your course as you are parachuting, so you may land at different places in the level. of course you have to try and land in quiet places, unless you want to drop right in the middle of 20 German soldiers O.o well then I have to say good luck to you. although you can land in different places, you will still have to work your way towards the same objective, like maybe rendezvous at a old house or something. it is just a matter of where you land which affects how long you will have to take to reach your objective.

I've watched the gameplay video, and saw that rifle grenades are being introduced! I think this is the first time I've seen it being used in a game, but then again I might've missed out. anyways, rifle grenades are specially made grenades (I think. the bottom of the grenade has a hole where you will have to stuff the tip of your rifle into it. here is a picture to show it:

after fixing the grenade at the tip of the rifle, just aim and press the trigger normally like what you did whilen shooting normal bullets. if I'm not wrong, people normally used it for infiltration purposes in World War II.. well if course I may be wrong, but at least I'm stating one of its uses. now we don't need it because we have grenade launchers on our guns itself. it adds to the weight, but nevertheless a good protection/weapon to use in war.

well, I'm looking forward to this game.. hope it ain't just some typical WWII first-person shooter game, cuz I'm getting tired of them..
