this episode does not really progress the story much, because the real action will start next episode, where the people of Kakura Town who have even the slightest reiatsu will be killed. anyways, the episode starts off with a short recap of what happened last episode. at the beginning, it continued with the scene when Ulquiorra and Yammy returned to Aizen. Ulquiorra reported their findings to Aizen, and then had a small argument with Grimmjow, a new character introduced in this episode and a potential troublemaker for the time being.

after that, the show switched to Ichigo's house. Renji explained that thy will be staying in this world until the fight with the Arrancars are over, so I guess we will be seeing the Shinigamis in our clothes for quite some time ^_^. anyways, they went their seperate ways afterwards to go to the places they wish to stay in for the time being. Rangiku went all seductive on Ichigo cuz she wanted to stay in his house =P.

last episode, Orihime has shown some signs of uneasiness when Rukia cheered Ichigo up. in this episode, her uneasiness were revealed as jealousy towards Rukia. I did not watch from episode 80+ till episode 110, so I do not know if Orihime has grown any feelings towards Ichigo during these episodes. there are only two possibilities now.. it is either she likes him, or is just a very very good and caring friend. well, I will have to wait for future episodes in order to find this out. anyways, she seemed pretty on this matter as she even cried while talking about it to Rangiku. well, Rangiku managed to cheer her up in the end.

at the end of the episode, it showed a few Arrancars entering this world, including Grimmjow. each Arrancar set their eys on the people with reiatsu, and set off before the ending theme.

like I said at the beginning, this episode does not progress the story much. it is more on giving some background information and character profile in my opinion. but the fact that it showed the Arrancars getting into position before the raid shows that this is not a filler episode.
